Textile collage comprised of quilts beyond repair, used drop cloth, tea towel, ink, acrylic paint. Grommets for easy hanging. I started this piece just as Spring was coming into riotous view. The contrast felt especially poignant after the somewhat destructive gales and ice storms of winter (which I also loved). To me, the mouse spoke of the innocence and purity of the creative/ destructive cycles wrought by nature in all its deep, deep coherence.
